June 14 is our first day of Camp at Home, which we are so excited to share with you! It would typically be our first day of on-site Summer Camp. Our summer staff have already begun arriving here at Caroline Furnace and are hard at work preparing for another exciting, yet different, summer. We remain hopeful that we can begin small group summer camping on July 5. No matter what, we are committed to providing an unforgettable summer of leadership and faith development to our team of young adults.
God of Creation,
We give you thanks for the many outdoor ministries across the nation that provide us with a sacred space in God's creation (especially Caroline Furnace, Hungry Mother, and Mar-Lu-Ridge). Guide them in their ministry this summer, however that may look. We uplift the summer campers, staff, and organizations who are grieving the loss of their typical summer. Be with those who are creating new Summer Camp opportunities amidst this pandemic. May their ministry continue to share love, build community, and change lives.
