FAQs about our Summer 2025 Schedule

What does each camp entail?

Each camp includes the classic camp experience including campfires, interactive bible study, crafts and games, gaga ball, the lake, and more! Some of our camps include increased time focusing on a more specific activity. For example, if your child's favorite thing to do at camp is the lake, creek walking, and all things wet, they might enjoy one of our Hydro camps.

Where can I find the camp's description?

Camps are organized by age group. On our Camps Details page, click on the grade level to find descriptions of each session organized by age group.

Where is Classic Camp?

While we have changed the name of classic camp, not to worry, the experience is still there! The classic camp experience is now listed by age group. For example, if your child is in rising 4th-6th grade and interested in classic camp, you can find where voyagers is listed on the schedule: Weeks 1, 3, and 4.

Why does summer camp start later this year?

While we are saddened to shorten our weeks of summer, we are overjoyed to host some great opportunities for those in the area. Following our week of confirmation camp, we have some exciting opportunities to support our community.

  1. We will be hosting Camp HOPE America on our property.

Camp HOPE America is the leading year-round camping and mentoring program in the country for children and teens impacted by domestic violence. Their mission focuses on creating hope and healing-centered pathways through collaborative, trauma-informed care for youth exposed to trauma to believe in themselves, in others, and in their dreams. Find out more about their organization here.

  1. We are partnering with Shepherd on the Hills to provide a day camp experience for campers who may not be ready to spend a whole week with us.

Shepherd on the Hills is a congregation in Haymarket, Virginia who have been active supporters of Caroline Furnace for years. Pastor Darcy has served as our volunteer chaplain for many summers! We're excited to host an opportunity for day campers to enjoy our camp and property!
