Caroline Furnace Lutheran Camp & Retreat Center is open for Outdoor Activities (day use) beginning September 8.
Call or email before you come. Book your activity time in advance by calling (540) 449-0012 or emailing julie@carolinefurnace.org. Office hours are typically 9-5, Monday to Friday, but may vary due to the nature of outdoor ministry.
Passes/Permits are for individuals and families - groups, ask us about group retreat opportunities.
Guests under 18 must have adult supervision.
1. Hiking (+trail running, bird watching, etc.) is permitted. Please stay on marked trails.
2. Fishing is permitted in the lake; catch-and-release only. Please do not fish in the creek or swimming area. No swimming or watercraft.
3. Pets are welcome but must be on leash at all times.
COVID-19 Update: Outdoor Activities Passes/Permits may only be used when no overnight groups are on-site. All day guests must sign in and out by the office for contact tracing purposes.
Outdoor Activities Pass - suggested donation of $10 per vehicle, per day
Outdoor Activities Permit - suggested donation of $100 per household for the year
